Waccamaw Siouan 44th Annual Powwow

 

The Waccamaw Siouan Tribe invites the public to share in their 44th year of "Celebrating Culture and Traditions during the 44th Annual Waccamaw Siouan Pow Wow. The event will be held on Friday, October 17 and Saturday, October 18, 2014 on the Waccamaw Siouan Tribal Grounds in the Buckhead Community of Bolton, NC. Over $13,000.00 will be awarded in Competition Prize Money. During the two day event Waccamaw Siouan History, Traditional foods, American Indian Dance Competition, Drumming Competition, Horse Show and Gospel Singing will be taking place. There will be a special "Veteran Honoring Ceremony held on Saturday, October 18th. We invite all Veteran's, Native American and Non-Native American to come join us during this event and to participate in the Parade on October 18th.

  • Corn Husk Doll Making
